01 Scope of This Policy

This Returns and Exchanges Policy applies to products purchased through the Outlet City Tech website. Outlet City Tech is the commercial name of the online store operated by Technosa, UAB.

Some rules depend on whether the customer purchases as a consumer or as a business customer. A consumer is an individual acting outside their trade, business or professional activity. Mandatory consumer rights remain fully applicable and are not restricted by this Policy.

02 How to Request a Return or Exchange

Before returning any product, contact [email protected] . Do not ship products to the registered company address or any other address until you receive return instructions from our support team.

03 Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing products online generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when the consumer or a designated third party receives the product.

To exercise this right, send a clear written notice to [email protected] before the withdrawal period expires.

After notifying us, return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice. Wait for our return instructions before dispatching the parcel.

Unless agreed otherwise or required by applicable law, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning a product when exercising the right of withdrawal.

04 Condition of Returned Products

Consumers may inspect a product to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Returned items should include the accessories, documentation and components supplied with the order where applicable.

A consumer may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.

Please return the item in its original packaging where reasonably possible. Missing packaging does not automatically remove mandatory consumer rights.

Technical hardware note: When returning processors, memory modules, motherboards, GPUs, storage devices or other sensitive components, use suitable protective packaging. Where relevant, use an anti-static bag and sufficient impact protection.

05 Refunds After Consumer Withdrawal

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, eligible payments will be refunded in accordance with applicable law. This generally includes the product price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

Additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable unless required by law or agreed separately.

A refund may be withheld until the returned product is received or until evidence of return shipment is provided, whichever occurs first.

Unless another method is agreed, the refund is issued using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

06 Exchanges

To request an exchange, contact [email protected] with your order number, product SKU and the requested replacement.

Exchanges depend on stock availability, the product condition and the circumstances of the request. If an exchange is unavailable, a consumer may still exercise any applicable statutory right of withdrawal or request another legally available remedy.

Any price difference or delivery cost will be confirmed before an optional exchange is processed.

07 Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Products

If a product arrives damaged, does not match the order, differs from its description or appears to be faulty, contact [email protected] promptly.

Include your order number, product name, SKU, manufacturer part number, a clear description of the issue and photographs where relevant. For technical faults, include useful diagnostic details, error messages or test results.

For consumer purchases, repair or replacement will generally be offered where proportionate and possible. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable period and without significant inconvenience, other remedies may include a price reduction or termination of the contract and a refund.

The seller covers the reasonable return cost of a defective product where required by applicable law.

08 New, Used and Refurbished Hardware

Outlet City Tech may offer new, used, refurbished, open-box or otherwise graded professional hardware. The relevant condition should be stated on the product page or confirmed before the order is finalized.

Consumer rights also apply to second-hand goods purchased from a professional seller. Normal wear, cosmetic marks, packaging condition and other characteristics that were clearly disclosed before purchase are taken into account when assessing whether a product conforms to the contract.

A disclosed characteristic is not automatically treated as a defect. An undisclosed fault remains subject to the applicable consumer-protection rules.

09 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply in certain cases provided by law. Examples may include:

  • goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized;
  • sealed computer software that has been unsealed after delivery;
  • digital content supplied after the customer expressly agreed to immediate performance and acknowledged the applicable loss of the right of withdrawal;
  • other categories excluded by applicable law.
Important: A product is not automatically excluded merely because the customer selected a standard configuration from available options. Any exception is assessed according to the specific circumstances and applicable legal requirements.

10 Business Customer Returns

The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by business customers for commercial or professional purposes.

Business return and exchange requests are reviewed individually. A return may be accepted where agreed in writing, stated in a quotation or required by applicable law.

Business customers must contact [email protected] before shipping any product back.

11 Compatibility and Installation Issues

Professional hardware may require specific sockets, firmware versions, cables, riser cards, chassis, power supplies, cooling systems, storage interfaces or other compatible components.

A product is not considered defective solely because it is incompatible with the customer's existing system where the supplied product matches its description and specifications.

If you are unsure about compatibility, contact [email protected] before purchase and provide the exact system model, current configuration and manufacturer part number.

14 Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you believe that your consumer rights have been infringed, contact us first in writing at [email protected] . Include your order number, requested solution and supporting documents.

Consumer requests are reviewed free of charge. A reasoned written response will be provided within 14 calendar days after receipt of the request.

If the request is not resolved or no response is provided within this period, a consumer may apply to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority for alternative out-of-court dispute resolution: VVTAT .
